CPD e-learning module on reporting suspected adverse drug reactions
The MHRA have created a free e-learning module for healthcare professionals to learn about the importance of reporting suspected adverse drug reactions (ADRs). The module is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).
Medicines education modules
Produced by the MHRA, these medicines education modules are designed for healthcare professionals who are routinely involved in decision making about prescribing, supplying or administering medicines. They are available online and are free of charge.
The modules highlight important hazards of commonly prescribed classes of medicines, and how to prevent or minimise them when prescribing, dispensing or taking these medicines.
- Antipsychotics
- Benzodiazepines
- Opioids
- Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs)
- Two further modules are available on corticosteroids and oral anticoagulants. Registration for the MHRA learning management system is required: visit the e-learning overview and scroll down for more information.
